The Extraordinary Marù Spa

Famous as the only beach front or tree house spa in Tahiti, this Polynesian-style spa offers six treatment rooms – four waterfront and two massage rooms into the Banyan trees. Rejuvenation is through the Tahitian treatments where 100 years old herbs and remedies of the South Pacific form the part of the spa services. Its Marù Spa products are worth a trial.


Expect snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, Scuba diving, catamaran cruises, water skiing, parasailing, and water ferry between Bora Bora and Motu Toopua. The sports facilities include two lit tennis courts, 160′ swimming pool, fitness center with aerobic and weight training equipment, billiards, games room, canoes, kayaks, glass bottom boat trips, shark feeding itineraries, and 4×4 Jeep safaris for an additional fee. Dining & Entertainment

The Otemanu Restaurant is the famous restaurant with 92 dining room seats for dinner open from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Café Faré is where you can have informal indoor/outdoor breakfast, lunch, and dinner accommodating 50 folks daily from 06.30am to 10.00am for breakfast and 12 pm to 3 pm for lunch. For a Mediterranean meal, go to the Café Faré especially for dinner. For some great views and live music, Hiro Lounge is great place to be at night from 6 to 11 pm. Even the room service offers sandwiches, salads, and pastries.

Taste the Canoe Breakfast offering continental menu of tropical fruits, pastries, and juices at your Overwater Bungalow delivered via a Tahitian-style canoe. Regularly events are Manager’s Cocktail Reception and Pearl Fashion Show on Monday and Pareo Demonstration Shows.

Encircled by a beautiful lagoon, a Tahitian style meeting area offers thatch ceiling and open beams whose tropical entrance is through a foot bridge. Here, the accommodation facility is up to 100. Further, The Chapiteau  on the beach can receive 120 guests, whereas the Café Fare, The Pavilion, and The Fare Transit function with 20 to 70 guests.

Reaching the Resort

Fly to Faa’a, Tahiti’s International airport in Papeete after which you need to take a 45-minute flight to the Bora Bora airport. From here, the hotel’s private launch comfortably takes you to the hotel.
